Quinta Do Miradouro Estate is the home of the International Award-Winning Winery, Adega do Cantor. A family run business, this unique boutique Winery was developed in 2004, in partnership with Sir Cliff Richard, the Estate is owned by his partners, the Birch family.

This fully equipped Winery is one of the most modern in Portugal and has the capacity to produce 250,000 bottles with possible expansion to 300,000. Featuring state of the art technology with computerised and thermostatically controlled tank fermenters. The cellars can house up to 150 barrels of reserve wines.

The Farmhouse and Cottage are set in landscaped gardens each with a private swimming pool and only rented out to family and friends during the summer season. There is a tennis court set next to the vineyards and plenty of parking for guests and visitors to the Winery.

Worthy of note, amongst other awards historically, the Vida Nova Reserve 2012 was awarded a prestigious 91 points in the international Decantor Magazine (August 2017 edition).

The holiday accommodation has not been actively marketed over the last 3 years due to the ill health of the owner, however in the past both the Farmhouse and Cottage have been very popular with tourists and of course the Sir Cliff Richard Fan Clubs.

The Adega enjoys over 10,000 visitors annually and there is huge potential to increase sales with the introduction of a Restaurant and Cafe on the premises.
