ACCESSIBILITY FROM BUDAPEST:
The property is located about a 40-60-minute drive from Budapest, approximately 30 kilometers from the border of the capital and about 50 kilometers from the city center of Budapest.
There are several options for reaching it: you can drive on Route 11 via Szentendre on the left bank of the Danube, or you can take a scenic route through Pilisszentlászló after turning from Szentendre downtown. Alternatively, you can approach Nagymaros from the right bank of the Danube via Routes 2 or M2 and then take the ferry to cross the Danube to Visegrád.
You can also reach Nagymaros by train from Nyugati Station (which takes about 50 minutes) and then take the ferry to Visegrád.
You can also take a direct bus or transfer in Szentendre (approximately 75 minutes) from Újpest.
As a riverside town, Visegrád is also accessible by boat (fast boat and sightseeing boat). Boats depart from Vigadó Square in Budapest from spring to autumn.
If you prefer cycling, you can travel to Visegrád via the EV6 bicycle path, also crossing the Danube by ferry.
