Provencal Villa In Southwest France

The principle source of energy is a geothermal heat-pump distributing heat by means of under-floor heating on the ground floor. There are electric radiating panels in each room of the top floor. The house benefits from a “B-class” rating certificate for Energy Usage in a rating system that goes from A (best rate) to F (worst rate).

All electrical fixtures and installed kitchen appliances in the house are included in the sale price as well as garden equipment located in the garage. Internet is available via DSL-interconnect (fixed-line to exchange just 500 meters away) or 4G-LTE reception.

The house foundation was constructed on bedrock at a depth of 90 centimeters. The area has known no seismic activity and all rain is run-off.

The Gers in France is renowned for its laid-back pastoral life-style. It has a rich French cuisine, its most notable produce is foie-gras and Armagnac.
