Villa Serica is an early 17th century dwelling recently refurbished according to the rules of bio-building.
It is part of the little village Ombria, about 500 metres above the sea level, in San Martino Valley, the first valley of the Orobic Alps between the provinces of Lecco and Bergamo. This is a place in which the nature and the environment are still uncontaminated, and in which the landscape offers different shows in each season.
Only 20 Km far from Bergamo, 20 km far from Orio al Serio international Airport, 20 Km from Lecco and 30 Km from Milan, you can still enjoy an uncontaminated place!
The Villa consists of two floors: on the ground floor there is the entrance, the kitchen of 30 square meters, the lounge (30 sqm), a bedroom with bathroom (25 sqm) and a laundry room (8 sqm).
On the first floor there are three bedrooms of 30 square meters, with two bathrooms.
Two of these rooms have a very high ceiling, about 5 m, and have the lofts, the first of 12 sqm, the other of 6 sqm.
In all rooms of the Villa there is at least a chimney, and there are two fireplaces and two wood stoves.
The beams and stones are original early 1600's.

In the kitchen, the hood of the stove has been designed with the main mast of one ship of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.

The garden of 3400 square meters, completely fenced, is full of fruit trees and ornamental plants.
There are two parking spaces inside the property and a large outdoor parking (the municipal engineering department gives the permission to build the underground garage and swimming pool).
In the upper part of the garden are two storage compartments for a total of about 20 m², in precarious conditions.
Five other families live in the small village of the seventeenth century, relations with the neighbors are friendly and harmonious. The village is surrounded by fields and woods.
Caprino Bergamasco, 3 km away, is a small town of 2500 inhabitants rich in magnificent Renaissance palaces. In the village there are all major commercial activities and schools, up to the middle school.
The current domestic workers (cleaning lady, gardener, cook's assistant, waiters) are willing to continue working with the new owner.
