Highway to Lisbon / Spain/Europe (E802) 14 Kms away, and the projected new train line will soon link to the rest of Europe as well (eventually for passengers, planned only for goods for now).
Castles, Palaces, Stunning charming hotels, typical restaurants with delicious food from both land and sea... Yes, of course.
Culture, education, healthcare (aham... cheaper healthcare than US for sure) you can find it easily with the kind and warmth Portuguese people.
Airports: Lisbon (1:45 minutes away). Badajoz (40 mins away).
