Situated down the Deerpark road this 200 year old cottage has been renovated with tremendous flair and enthusiasm.
Here you’ll find self catering accommodation of the highest standard. The cottage has original art, log fires and comfy sofas; wonderfully welcoming especially after an afternoon spent down on the beautiful shore of Templetown Beach or Ravensdale Forest, which are both only moments away.
Set in absolute peace and stillness, we have tried to maintain the original features. The main kitchen/ living room has an airy contemporary feel with pitched ceilings and deep set windows. The… cottage comes with central heating but you can always light the fire for a romantic feel. There is a large fridge/ freezer, oven & hob, microwave and everything you need should you decide to eat in.
The bedrooms all feature a double bed (one with en-suite), duvet and pillows with crisp cotton bedding. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The cottage comes with a log store which houses a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, hanging space and is also useful for storing bikes.
In the grounds of the cottage sits an ancient sweat house which gives you the first glimpse of the rich history the area has to offer including some of the most spectacular Neolithic sites within walking distance.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the cottage is ideally placed for visiting Cooley Pennisula, Mourne Mountains, Newry, Belfast and Dublin.
