It is inside the magical, safe and preserved wild Natural Park of the Southwest of Portugal, with beautiful beaches (3 of the 7 most beautiful of Portugal).

This property called “Monte da Marofanha” has around 2 ha, it stays more than 100m from sea level, with a view of 360º, you can also see the highest point of Serra de Monchique; The property spot is peaceful but not too isolated with all necessary services close by. It has its own paved road and is 3km away from Odemira (capital of the biggest county in Portugal), where you have all the services you might need, public services, 24h public health service, comercial surfaces, cultural and other events, etc. It is the most safety place in Europe, no crime rate, though very cosmopolite.

This house is supplied with water from the public system, electricity, telephone and it has its own ecological treatment of wasted water with grease separator; plus, there is a water tank with circulating natural crystal water to swim in and for irrigation, supplied by the beautiful Santa Clara’s lake, 40km away. The “monte” has a fruit and vegetable garden, a well and an exterior oven old handmade and properly restored. There are farm animals with their proper accommodations, made in masonry, having water and electricity, a lake for the ducks and another for the frogs. All follows permaculture principles.

The property has 3 houses. The main building, the one to rent has 206 sqm, has a great isolation, with double glass windows and thick rammed earth walls, although is properly prepared for central heating, it’s not necessary, it has a tiled stove in the huge leaving room, divided from the kitchen by a balcony. Has you can see from the plan attached, it has 3 bedrooms, all with two levels, mezzanine and 2 bathrooms. The smaller house on the left is where I live and the third house is further away, occasionally occupied by my mother.

The house is fully equipped and ready to live in (with exception for the linens). The contracts are made for 6 months renewable until 2 years.
