Valley is surrounded by wooded hills with interesting walking routes and proud mountains. In the forests you can pick mushrooms, chestnuts, herbs and berries. From farmers can buy fresh, organically grown vegetables fruits and other products.
Savinjska valley stretches in the great Logarska dolina, where you can pass Pavli?evo sedlo, it"s a shortcut to Austria.
Gondolas to the famous ski resort Golte in Mozirje is only about 3 km away. SPA Topolšica is only 15 min driving, SPA Dobrna approx 30 min., SPA Lasko 40 min., SPA Rogaska Slatina 45 min ..
The largest city in the vicinity is Celje (Roman name CELEIA), about 30km from Mozirje, where are located the large shopping centres, as well as the old Castle with a rich history ant the old city centre.
To our capital city Ljubljana (Roman EMONA) is only 45 min., as well as to the international airport Jože Pu?nik.
The capital CROATIA - Zagreb Airport is approximately 1,5 hours away, to Vienna it takes 3 hours, to Venecia and Budapest 3 hours and to Milan, Belgrade and Sarajevo just 5 hours, to the see side it takes just 2 hours.
