This house used to be the home for our family for long decades, and it has everything you need for a perfect countryside lifestyle. The family members of the previous generation were farmers, so they equipped and rebuilt the house for a comfortable farming.
The water and gas system is stable electricity works well and high speed internet (glass fiber optic cable) is available too. So everything is set up, the house is ready to move in.
The heating system has been renewed 2 years ago with a wood-fired boiler and a turbo furnace, central heating system brings heat through radiators in all the rooms, and floor heating in the bathroom. The bathroom has been entirely rebuilt a couple of years ago.

The village: Véménd

Among the lovely hills and valleys of Baranya lies Véménd. The sorrounding is mostly agricultural fields, forests, fishing lakes, and country roads. The village has a very active german speaking swabian minority, and a lively cultural life. There are some basic shops, a chemist, a church, a bar, a fire station and health care. The everyday life is pretty tranquil, you barely hear any disturbing noises, but the cockrow for sure! Véménd is perfect for people who have a desire to eat healthy, have home-grown food, keep animals and live an eco-friendly lifestyle. The capital of the region is Pécs, which is reachable in 35 mins by car.
