Nyíregyháza is situated in the Eastern part of Hungary. Its entertainig and relaxing centre is Sóstófürd?, that is preferable among families with small children, and the ones who need health recovering. Sóstógyógyfürd? is famous for its medicinal water, and being an idyllic bathing resort 5 km from the center of Nyíregyháza.
Not only in Hungary but in the neighboring countries as well, since three borders (Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine) can be reached within 90 minutes by car. The motorway is next to the town.
Nyilas Inn is located in Nyíregyháza-Sóstógyógyfürd?, it is an entertainig facility that consists of a restaurant, a hotel, a spa centre, an event hall, an event garden, and a wine cellar.
The facility was opened in 2010, and has been constantly used since then.
The award winner Nyíregyháza Zoo, a Waterpark, and a thermal water spa are all within walking distance of the Inn.
Nyilas Inn is the one and only catering facility, which can offer the aforementioned wide range of services in the area.
The countryhouse-like, family-style building was originally built at the end of the 19-th century, and was used as a winehouse, it has been renewed , and since then, several extentions had been added to it.
The facility is well suited for the purpose of tourism selfness. The nearby zoo, waterpark, pool, lake Sóstó, and folk life museum, provide an exceptional range of activities for the visitors.
In addition, Sóstó forest provides excellent opportunities for hiking, and can be the place for several other outdoor activities.
The restaurant can be found in the main building - which was originally the place of the old winehouse - was renovated and expanded in 2010. (Its size is 380m2 or 4090ft2 including kitchen). Since it has been built on a hill, the streetside entrance is at ground level, but the entrance facing the backyard is at basement level. The restaurant, - keeping the wine house’s original design,- consists of several smaller rooms, and one big,- for 35 persons - open dining area. It can host a total of 80 people. It’s interior is completely unique, antique, countriside-like.
The hotel is located on the floor above the restaurant.(285m2 or 3067 ft2). A reception area, a dayroom, and 3 suites - that consist of 2 rooms, one bathroom and are furnished with antique furniture - and 2 standard rooms can be found here. The main building’s attic is completely built-in and funished, it houses 2, two room suites, 6 double rooms and 2 one-bedroom rooms. The hotel can accomodate 41 people, but spare beds can be added to almost all of the rooms, and several ones have fouton-type sofas, thus the capacity can be increased by approximately 10 people, that is alltogether 50 persons.
The Spa’s building, - which was built in 2012, - is in the backyard, behind the main building. The Spa consists of: swimming pool, jacuzzi, warm- water pool, finnish sauna, 2 dip pools. Other services: stream sauna, infra sauna, waterbeds, Jade-stone masage, salt-room. The ground level has its own bar and lounge area. On the first level of the building a fully equipped gym and a massage area can be found.
The event hall was also built in 2012, and is also located in the backyard, next to the Spa. In case of dance events, (eg. weddings), we can cater for a maximum of 120-130 people, this way, the dancefloor is fully available for all guests.
Next to the event hall, there is a ,,farm house – picnic area”, which can be used for outdoor grilling, cooking or entertaining. It is equipped, with furnace, grill, and all furnished authentically, with antique furniture.
